its all about keeping warm at the moment but there has been some lovely winter flowers coming up in the garden.  so white.  so fresh and so clean.

girl's toasty winter hoodie

i made this warm winter woolly for my little girl this week.  i haven't been able to find a jacket i like in the shops that is 100% wool.  so decided to make one from a cardigan that wasn't been used.  i first shortened the arms then cut the bottom off to make a hoodie, added some velvet ribbon and a button and there you are!  i think the secret to a good hoodie is the 3 panels design, with two side pieces connected by a long middle section.  perfect for winter weather and very cute!
