last one for the year!  thanks to my family and friends for your words of encouragement and fantastic support.  thanks to everybody who stopped by and had a look see over the last six weeks, its been great meeting the people in the neighbourhood.  i hope to start up again at the end of january so i look forward to seeing you in the new year!

this is my fabric version of a christmas wreath.  found a great embroidery book of new zealand flowers in an op-shop and tried my hand at a rata flower (top) and nz fushia (bottom).

have made some very sweet bunting this week...

noddy and christmas carols


found an old 'noddy and father christmas' book in need of repair and made 8 christmas themed cards.  and have this great LP to sell for those who want some old fashion carols

get ready for some christmas cake eating with these vintage glass cake stands, a westminster china rose tea cup and some crown lynn cups for good measure

i made this weeks bunting from an old and neglected national library book

these are some of my regular handmade pieces...vintage linen bird cards and wardrobe lavender birds which are made from vintage kimono fabric and filled with dried lavender from my mum's garden.  the aim is to put them into an online shop soon, so they are available to all...

the golden goose



find of the week has to be this golden typewriter in mint condition with two refill ribbons included.  it sure is time for a party.

perfection...i was very excited to receive these spirograph cards from christchurch printer andrea baker this week.  each one is hand drawn and includes a spriographed envelope.  available in hot pink as well.

yesterday was officially the first day of summer and there is definitely golden summer themes going on in the garage this week to match the yellow daisies and hot pink holly hocks coming out in the garden.  a friend sent me some cute hardly worn white and 'lemon delicious' baby clothes as well as some lovely  white 'next' newborn packs to sell on.

these adorable 'cuddly mama' dolls, made by clever christchurch crafter mel opie, arrived at the garage this week.  each doll is unique, handmade and best of all has a secret treasure pocket in the front.
