its been an emotional week of remembering last years events in chch and have decided to showcase some christchurch cleverness to honour the good things coming out there through all the traumatic times.  lots of love chch.

on my last trip to christchurch i fell in love with these balloon balls made by hannah from www.locket.co.nz.  all you have to do is place a balloon inside the cover, blow it up and instantly you have a stylish unpopable balloon.  genius.  you can buy these great balloon balls on her www.felt.co.nz online shop.  the balloon balls come in a large selection of gorgeous fabrics.

the tiger lilies in the a garden are showing off their last burst of summer colours, their orange and browns matching the decor plastic wine container and crockery in the garage perfectly.

have these beautiful glass vases in the garage at the moment.  the potato vine seems to be making its home in the garage too

have managed to hunt down an old and discarded atlas again and made some more map bunting.  this weeks bunting include arctic to antarctica and vancouver to london

seagulls

found this beautiful seagull scarf and put it in an embroidery hoop...multi purpose decoration that can be broken down into an accessory and an activity!

have enjoyed a few opshop outings this week.

found a great magazine rack and hand painted fire guard.  also glossed up a wooden stool with red apple spray paint.

snakes and ladders

found this great old snakes and ladders board, where moral tales abound as mischief snakes into woe and unity builds strength....am thinking the pictures could be turned into great cards.  will have to see what i can do...
